Today I'm going to show you 8 Famous/well-know people who have bipolar.



Ludwig van Beethoven
He became deaf early in life and suffered intermittently with bouts of serious fever
and headaches. He often thought about suicide, a common symptom of bipolar disorder. He went through a pessimistic
emotional period, which negative impact
 his compositions. There was a degradation
in his manners as well as his personal appearance, which are all symptoms of depression which was caused by
his bipolar disorder.

Andy Behrman

 Ludwig Boltzmann
A physicist and mathematician.
Greatest achievement was in the
development of statistical mechanics,
 which explains and predicts how the properties of atoms determine the
physical properties of matter.

Stephen Fry
Was diagnosed with
 bipolar disorder, specifically cyclothymia, referring it as bipolar lite. He suffered a nervous breakdown in 1995 in a west End play and subsequently walked out of the production, after walking out, Fry went missing for several days while contemplating suicide. He abandoned the idea and left the United Kingdom by ferry, eventually resurfacing in Belgium.

I don't believe Bipolar holds me back as a person or a filmmaker. I actually believe it makes everything I do have more meaning, passion, and purpose. I'm thankful to be this way ... thankful to be born Bipolar.

Patty Duke
American actress of stage, film,  and television. In 1987, Duke revealed  in her autobiography that she was diagnosed with manic depression (now called bipolar disorder) in 1982.
 Since then she has devoted much of her  time to advocating and educating the  public on mental health issues.
She became the first celebrity to
go public with her bipolar disorder diagnosis, and has contributed to de-stigmatizing bipolar disorder.
 Duke has since become an
 activist for numerous mental
health causes. She has lobbied
the United States Congress and 
                                                                         joined forces  with the National
                                                            Institute of Mental Health and
                                                        National Alliance for the Mentally Ill
                                                  in order to increase awareness, funding,
                                             and research for people with mental illness.
